Yesterday I ate lunch at Subway, and I got to thinking.....it seems like people/companies are just never satisfied. Subway is a sub sandwich shop. It was created for the purpose of having sandwiches. Then they added soup. That I can see, because a lot of people like to have soup with their sandwiches. Then they added salads. I suppose that is passable...all the ingredients are right there, so why not use them for salads if someone didn't want bread. NOW they have added breakfast items. Egg sandwiches and things like that. I don't think it fits with the sub sandwich theme, but I assume they wanted to get some income during those hours rather than leaving the building closed up until lunchtime. Now they can expand and have some income during the breakfast crowd. BUT this weekend I noticed that they are offering a pizza. A pizza that they cook in 90 seconds on some sort of flat bread. If you ask me, that is just pushing it too far. Why can't they leave a good thing alone, and serve what they started out to serve, and what they specialize in? I just don't get it.

I am with you and I definitely think the answer is $. I don't understand why they don't just stick with subs as they make great subs and there are definitely more than enough pizza places. That said, I see that now some of the pizza places are offering subs. ?????
I will tell you that the morning I forgot my breakfast, had WW to weigh in and needed to take something "legal" to the meeting to eat after weigh in I got one of their flatbread egg white with veggies sandwiches and it was great! I don't think they should expand to pizza either. They will lose their
individuality and I don't think gain much in sales.
I totally agree!! I have never gotten any breakfast stuff from ours but they may not offer it as I never see any cars there when I pass by and I leave at 7 am to go to work.
