Well, I did end up blocking that random reader that had subscribed silently to my blog. I got a response to the friend request but then that person's site hadn't had a post since 2010. Weird.
My son turned 9 years old on Sunday!!! Such a big boy! I am proud of how he is turning out to be and am looking forward to seeing him grow and change each year. I'm very proud of him.
This week has been good so far-it has been cold and rainy since Friday, and I sure do enjoy that, although I am finding it somewhat harder to get out from under the covers in the morning, that's for sure!
Ok- I better get going-have to run to the grocery store and pick up some treats for my son's class for tomorrow.

Hope your son has a wonderful birthday! Birthdays are such happy occasions, but as a parent I feel a little twinge of sadness that the years are going by so quickly.
It's already interesting reading about the differences in the weather in some places. Vancouver gets sooooo much rain in the winter that I can't imagine anyone there saying they love the rain too much. And here in Monterrey the climate is simular to Phoenix where its hot and dry most of the year so a lot of people actually like the cooler and rainier days. Happy Birthday to your son ! I had no idea he was already going to be 9 ! I'm sure he had a super fun birthday. Take care and have a great weekend, bye for now.

Happy birthday to your son. I forgot his name. This is Monday and we have snow today and 30 degrees. I am off work so going to take a cat nap and then cook pasta with Jimmy Dean hot sausage for dinner.
