Tomorrow will be another early start to the day, even though it is Saturday. We have to be at the football field at 6:00 in the morning! The game starts at 8, and should end at 10. After that I have to be to work by 11, at job #2, so I will have a busy day.
Tonight after work I came home and did laundry and cleaned my whole place! Well, I didn't vacuum, but I did everything else. That way I don't have to be stressed out about it all weekend long, so if I get time to do anything extra I can, but won't feel like a complete slacker if I don't.
I'm watching the Wedding Planner on TV. It has Jennifer Lopez in it. I really like this cheesy little movie. My sister can't stand to watch Jennifer Lopez in movies and thinks she is a terrible actress, but I like her. Something about her is endearing.
My grandma's birthday was this week. She turned 77 years old. She is continuing to do well in the nursing home. She is staying active and helping in the activities department, and the little greeting committee that they have. I am really glad to see that, I was really worried that the inactivity would give her depression and make her worse off, but thank goodness she has found her niche! Happy birthday to her!!!!
I am tired-I think I'll go to bed.

I always like it when I get the weekly housework done. I used to do it all on Friday and then I had the whole weekend to do things with my husband...but mostly we just stayed home! LOL
Now we are both retired ...I still try to do the housework on Friday along with the laundry but sometimes I have to do some on Friday and the rest on Saturday.....
Glad your grandmother is content....it makes a big difference when they feel useful and have their own little schedule to follow.
I'm sure you will enjoy Goodreads....it helps me keep track as I mentioned before. but since I blogged, I haven't had time to read again....so my % of being behind working towards my goal has risen.....

My mom is trying to get my grandfather set up in an assisted living home that is just top notch. It's absolutely beautiful and several of his friends already live there. The only problem- my aunts & uncle are just pitching a fit over "putting dad in a home". It's sad because he wants to go and instead has to live alone in a house with 2 flights of stairs. I'm glad your family has a little more sense and that your grandma is doing so well.
I was going to say at least with the super early start to the football game it will be over and then you'll have the rest of the day, but wow you work after on a Saturday. You are definitely a super hard worker ! It's always a nice feeling once everything is cleaned up. I never have enjoyed a dirty house, especially a messy kitchen, I hate that more than anything. From what I've seen Jennifer Lopez is usually a sweet charater in the movies, however I can't stand her real life personality. She seems so fake. I mean she sings something like "don't be fooled by the rocks that I got, I'm still Jenny from the block."
What block is she talking about anyways ? A block with golden side walks lined up with tiffanys, Versace, jimmy choo, prada and all the other major brands. She is so out of touch with whatever block she came from I can't believe she made a song trying to suggest otherwise. And who knows how many millions she raked in "helping" contestants on American Idol. Britney Spears now will be on that X Factor show and that's even worse, she's getting paid millions to "help" people and she can't even sing herself ! What has this world come to. Ok my little rant is over haha.
Happy Birthday to your grandmother ! I am glad to hear she is doing so well in the nursing home. It really seems like she's at home there. My grandmother turned 77 earlier this year but she's my young grandmother. My other grandmother will be 89 next week. Anyways take care and have a great start to the week, bye for now.
