1) I am trying another cat litter combination tonight. I mixed half scoopable with half regular. I am hoping that by having the mix, I can still scoop it, but by having some regular, it might not stick to their feet so much when they are getting out of the litter box. If it works, perhaps I'll market it and become a millionaire!!!
2) Grandma had to be taken by ambulance again this morning. She was discovered in the room of her nursing home, completely unresponsive. She had a blood sugar level of 38. They thought she had possibly had another heart attack, or perhaps a stroke, but so far that has not proven accurate. Nothing else is obviously wrong, but they have no idea what happened or why her sugar would have gotten that out of whack that quickly, when all along it had been going good earlier in the day. She had taken her insulin, had her meal, etc. She is still in the hospital undergoing testing. She did regain consciousness, and is stable right now. I had talked with her for the last 3 days in a row, and she had been doing really well, so this is quite discouraging. Poor thing.
3) Reading Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (still) and would not recommend it. It just isn't as good as it was made out to be, and I can't believe there is a movie about it.
4) The recipe of the week: BJ's Country Cornbread. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! 0 out of 10 stars. Tastes like eating a bowlful of sand. Seriously. Cannot imagine what the heck someone was thinking when they put it in a cookbook. It will all have to be thrown out, but I feel bad wasting it so it is just sitting sadly on the counter right now until I give up and toss it.

That is a wonderful idea about the cat litter! One of my cats is a Maine Coon with extremely furry feet. I use the scoopable and end up sweeping the house 3 times a day. I'm definitely going to try doing the same thing. I hope your grandma feels better.
I haven't ever purchased cat liter until today and we got some for the kittens in the garage. I got scoopable but in the garage it won't matter if they track it.
Sorry about Grandma, praying. Don't you hate it when you read something or try a recipe that was recommended only to find out you don't like it at all??
sorry to hear about your grandma:( will be praying for you guys and her. Cats are so finicky! I hope this combination of litter works out:) I did laugh out loud when I read your FB status the other day and your comment about the meal. Sorry to hear it was a disaster but your comment cracked me up:)
That's quite the plan to make some money. It is ideas like those that usually do sell well though. So many times people come up with such complex and out of this world ideas, yet what the market place really needs is something simple that can really impact a lot of people. Seeing as so many people have cats, anything to do with improving the litter would certainly be a great idea. Though it would be nice if cats could manage to go outside like dogs do !
Sorry to hear about your grandmother, I really hope that everything will be ok and she'll feel better super soon. It's great that she has the support there that she needs, as it's a much safer environment for her to be than had she been in her home all alone. I vaguely remember hearing about that movie before, but it's been so long I can hardly think about it. I'm surprised about the cornbread ! I realize not every recipe will impress everyone, but 0/10 means it's practically so bad it's impossible to eat. I would really have to try it to see what you mean haha. Take care and have a wonderful weekend !
